April 14, 1999 - Milwaukee Brewers at Montreal Expos
Everyone was hitting for the Expos in this game as the home team defeated the Brewers by a 15-1 score.
Widger, batting sixth, singled in a run in the first inning. In the third, he blasted a three-run homer
to left off of Jim Abbott to put the Expos up 6-0. Widger was retired in the fourth on a popout to left
field but homered again in the seventh inning, a two-run shot off Mike Myers. His 4 for 5 day concluded
with a line single in the ninth.
